Reconstruction vs. New Build

Reconstruction vs. New Build

The rebuilding process after a catastrophe, whether it is a home or a commercial building, is different from a new build situation.  Reconstruction has to make sure that the customers' memories are well preserved to the extent possible and construction must work around what is left.  Matching architectural uniqueness of a building (crowns, trims, floors, paint, cabinets) requires a more sophisticated approach to design, use of materials available, and handcrafting.

You dream it. We make it happen.

You dream it. We make it happen.

After a disaster from a fire, storm or flood, why not take the opportunity to do the renovations or remodeling you’ve been thinking about?

You have the option of rebuilding your kitchen or other rooms to match how they looked before, known as “like kind and quality.” Parker Young can even fabricate mouldings to match rest of the house. Our attention to detail covers everything from framing the walls, to trim, painting and even cabinets. Insurance companies generally will pay for this work minus any deductible.
